What happens during service

Here are some of the tasks your engineer will carry out during the visit

Visual inspection

An engineer will carry outa visual inspection inside and outside of the boiler to insure there is no corrosion or leaks.

Removing boiler casing

An engineer will insure all components are in working orderand clean the inside of the boiler. These checks includes heat exchanger, burner and spark electrode.

Flue check

An engineer will insure there are no obstructions in the flue terminal and the flue is safely and securely installed. He will also carry out aflue analyser check for flue performance.

Gas pressure

An engineer will insure the boiler is working on correct gas pressure.

How long the service takes

Boiler service should last at least 30 minute depending on make and model. On completion engineer will give you service report, explaining what they have done. Feel free to ask any question you have, we will be happy to explaineverything and advise appropriately.

When should a bolier be serviced

All boilers should be serviced annuallyto insure heating and hot water is running safely and efficiently and to keep warranties valid.

The best time to get boiler serviced is in summer, this way you know the boiler is ready for coming winter months to warm your home and engineers are busy in winter months.
